Thought I would share an email I received Friday from a major sheet lead vendor I deal with in my business. These folks deal in lead flashings, etc., and their only business is lead..... Dan Thome (Trap2)

I am glad to announce that Santa Rosa Lead is having a 24% decrease on rolls and sheet lead only effective immediately. I wanted to be the first to let you know. If there is anything that I can help you with or quote you on please let me know.

I appreciate your business and Happy Friday!

Lead is down but is still over $.83 per pound on the LME. That is nearly $21 for just the lead in a 25 lb bag. Does anyone know if the shot manufacturers buy their lead at LME prices or do they obtain it from recyclers at a lower cost?
