I was cleaning out/reorganizing some old stuff in the basement and stuck back in the corner, covered up, I found 3 bags of Magnum Starshot, 7-1/2's. Written on the bags was the price of $9.00. I'll just bet that I thought it was expensive back then....oh well!

Now, I have been in this house since 1988 so I'm guessing that is the approximate age. Any other good guessers' out there?

I think I'll keep at least one bag just as a fond reminder.

Hey Curt,...don't let your tears of sadness drip on the bag and smear the ink...it might be worth more than the whole original bag of shot was(shot included)

I bought 1/2 a ton from Sports Headquarters in Indianapolis in 1978 for $9.25 a bag.

    Maybe around this time frame?

I remember buying a brand new Chrysler for less than 4000 in the early 70's too. Had every available option. Now what are they?

I remember having to pay to use the restroom at K-Mart, back when K-Mart had a huge sporting goods section with lots of guns and ammo. Times change......

    Shoot well and often,

    Mark.

And 30 years ago gas cost 1/10th of what it does now, a Ford Mustang cost 1/10th of what it does now, and my salary was 1/20th of what it is now.

Come on people, stop the complaining -- except for the cost of computers, everything has gone up over the last 20 or 30 years.
