Oh boy ... have you possibly opened up a hornets nest.

IMHO targets are targets and they will all break when hit. Some people feel that White Flyers are the one and only target on the market while others feel that ... well ... a target is a target whether it is a White Flyer, Lawry or Remington.

I have never shot them. In my area a couple of years ago, they did get a very bad reputation and shooters avoided clubs that used them. It seems that the pattern of a target being hit hard enough to make dust and clearly move to the side with no visible piece was not uncommon.

That was a couple of years ago, but once a product gets a poor reputation, even if the product is improved, the reputation lingers for many years.

    our club uses Lawry's exclusively.
I shoot them twice a week and I know that they do break when hit.
If you miss they don't break . Tough luck
Lawry's are also designed to be nature friendly degradable

Great targets, excellent service. Have used them exclusively for about 5 years. Rick Lawry, the owner takes my calls personally. The buck stops there, and we have no complaints.

No ... Rick Lawry is the owners son. Bob Lawry , Rick's dad started the business many years ago. Both Bob and Rick are good guys .

I've shot lots of both, White Flyers & Lawrys. I've seen many more Lawrys dusted or moved but not broken than I have White Flyers (pitch of course, not those awful bios).

Lawrys are fine, White Flyers are great. My experience and opinion... cls

If you hit them...they break. Rick Lawry shot at 400 and broke 398 this past weekend to win another Canadian Skeet Championship. Yes, they were throwing Lawry Targets.
