Perry and Dee are retiring and the shoot this Sunday September 19th will be the last one for the Sheldon Trap Club.

This has been one of our favorite places for our kids to shoot, Perry and Dee are always just great to the kids. Good targets, good food, and good fellowship at a well run shoot. It will be sorely missed, we need more small clubs like this, I hate to lose it.

Come on out and say goodbye and THANKS to Perry and Dee.

I don't know if this will work but here is a slide show from todays shoot.

    <div style="width:480px; text-align: center;"><embed type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" src="http://w189.photobucket.com/pbwidget.swf?pbwurl=http%3A%2F%2Fw189.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fz292%2Ftrapdaddy%2FSheldon+9-19-10%2F2edbbe5a.pbw" height="360" width="480"><a href="http://photobucket.com/slideshows" target="_blank"> btn.gif </a><a href="http://s189.photobucket.com/albums/z292/trapdaddy/Sheldon%209-19-10/?action=view┬Ąt=2edbbe5a.pbw" target="_blank"> btn_viewallimages.gif </a></div>

It was a grand day at Sheldon Trap Club. A Decent turn out with many stopping by to give their regards to Perry and Dee, with shooters from Missouri, Kansas, Arkansas and Illinois in attendance.

There were some good scores posted (as usual) with Tracy Wilson and Larry McKinley posting 100's. Nels Hanson turned in a 99 and Junior shooter Cory Houston from our Branson Trap Team also put up a 99 to win B class. Sub Junior shooter Matt Cesar, also of Branson Trap (can't help being Trapdady!) shot 98 to top C class and Sharon Early lead D Class with an 88. Top Vet was a tie with Earnest Troth and Eddy Winslow both carding a 95. Top Sr Vet was Warren Pinson at 92. Chase Demaree was the top Junior at 84.

We had to leave as soon as my son shot his handicap as we had a 2 hour drive and another commitment in just over two hours so I don't have the final results from that or the doubles but I am sure there were more good scores posted as well, especially with the added money at stake!

As I told Dee before we left, this was a place where I loved to bring new shooters and their families as I always knew they would be exposed to only the best trap shooting had to offer, a great setting, good fellowship, good targets and my favorite, wonderful food!

    God Bless Perry and Dee!
