Thank you for the picture, it is now the background on my PC, I did not have the pleasure of ever seeing it, although I had the desire I never made it, thanks again.

Hi Guys, I've been away from this site for awhile and just got back on tonight when I saw this thread. I must have heard you talking about me :)

    Howdy Peter,

I had the privilege of shooting all week with Peter (2008 Ohio State Hall of Fame) and a group of our friends. I took that picture while waiting on my buddies to go to breakfast at the cafeteria. It was on the last morning and was turning kind of stormy looking as the morning went on. I had no idea that it would come out like it did. Glad you like it.

    Shoot well,

    Jim

Browning Man, a friend bought one off of my site and it's beautiful! I don't make anything off the sale of my pictures and as you will see from the attached link they're very reasonably priced. I think the 10X20 is $11.00, 20X24 is $25 and they go up to 30X40 in size. Click on buy this photo.

Thank You for sharing. That is one fabulous picture, the longer you look at it the more "little" things you find.

I bought a 16x20 print of the "Last Morning" and had it matted & framed, it is beautiful. I have had many compliments from visitors that were struck with it's beauty. I sit here now in my den and can still smell the Italian Sausages when I look at it. It was always a benefit to live here in Vandalia, but now as I drive past the grounds everyday....it just ain't the same. The only thing that I need to do now is to get my friend K-80 Jim to sign his work. The funny part is that I purchased the print without knowing that Jim was the one that took the shot.

I was wanting to get one and have it matted and framed, what would be better, gloss or lustre.

    Thanks, Browning Man

    Jim,

Apparently at about the same time I was standing about 150 yards further down the trap line taking the same picture. Mine was good but yours is nothing short of great. I'm using yours for my background on the computer at work and home. Thanks for the memories!!!!

When they changed locations, they should have changed the name of the shoot.

"Grand" American just doesn't fit with sparta.

I know I'm biased. My silverware from the prelim caps, 1977 Grand (my first)is downstairs on the bar. NOTHING will ever replace Vandalia. Even If I went to sparta, it could NEVER REPLACE Vandalia.

25 years old, 1st full year shooting reg. targets, shooting off in front of a packed grandstand, Thurs. Prelim caps. Yeah, something could replace that. I don't think so. LOL

Thanks for the pic. I have had it as my wallpaper since I first saw it.

I never realised the traphouse roofs were sloped that much.
