If you missed the Scotty Levengood Memorial shoot in Kalispell, Montana you might want to put it on your list for next year. A huge calcutta purse was up for grabs, and Larry Zieglr who was handicap runner-up on Saturday with a 98, repeated that same score to claim Sundays feature handicap from the fence, this time all alone. There were 24 squads who enjoyed a little rain, sun and mild windy conditions to compete for the $17,000 that was generated during the auction. The Flathead Valley Clay Target club and the Levengood clan made sure everyone had a great time, including a free pig BBQ and door prizes. Many others donated their time to make this a good shoot. A large amount of added money was also included in all the events.

    Again, way to go Larry!

Yes congratulations to the FVCTC for putting on a very well run shoot. All American Stu Welton from Star Idaho won the Friday Doubles with 198 in the rain and also won the Handicap shoot/off on Saturday. Shooters from Montana, Colorado, Idaho, Washington and Alberta came to this 3rd annual memorial shoot for the late Scott Levengood.
