    Used them years ago (30yrs.). Their design sure resulted in a soft recoil. The easy collapse also made them very adaptable to a variety of cases.

    I've suggested them to Claybuster & Downrange with no approval from either. The two piece construction would be a slow production but I'm sure they would be quickly accepted. Still have a bag or two under the bench for them (1 1/4 oz) waaay back loads.

    Dont know where the dies are for sure, last person to manufacture them was Dave Johnson Cedar Falls iowa.

    Smoth loading wad & was my favorite for 16 yds Trap & Skeet.

    I heard that Jim Crow in Iowa had the molds for the Lage wad? I sure wish those wads were available again!! If I could, I'd give up using all my other wads for all my shooting!

    I had good luck with the 20 gauge version, not so much with the 12.
