This is a great shoot.I believe that there was over $4300.00 paid out in 07. This shoot was very well organized and ran by very friendly people.I plan on attending this year also. The way I see it if I don't shoot good I can eat fish anyway.

Been looking to move to a small town in kentucky close to some shoots - I am retired so earning a living isn't a goal. The small little burgs are fine. Are there more than on club within a 100 miles?

I called Mr.Vanover and got the details of the shoot. There will be 25 from the 16yd line,25 from the 20yd line, 25 from the 24yd line, and 25 from either the 25,26,or27,depending on score from first 75.There was over $4300.00 paid out in 2007.For info or directions call 606-598-2834 or 606-598-4491.He said they would start selling shooters at 10.00am,and invites everyone to attend. He sid there were already 9 squads signed up and there were room for plenty more.

    Cubancigar,
Don't know exactly what you are looking for but Wilmore is close to Blue Grass traps and the biggest gun club in the state. 6 trap fields, sporting clays , skeet, rifle, pistol, black powder, air rifle, bass club, pointer setter, rifle range. Lexington isn't small but is close to BG Traps, Morehead, and Central KY Gun Club. Frankfort is w/i 30 miles. You cna contact Terry Dean ( ATA Delegate), he knows where all the little clubs are. Some of these guys shoot almost ever night of the week. If you want to talk to me, I'm in the phonebook in Lexington.

I talked to Mr. Vanover again,he said that everyone needs to be cashiered by 9:30am and they were going to sell the shooters at 10:00am.This was a great shoot last year ,and from the sound of things, will be again this year.I look forward to getting up there and shooting.See you all there.

Should be a great shoot. Last year, 1st place was $1103, second was $927, third was 8 something, and fourth was 5 something. Had 11 full squads and about 3 on #12 if I remember right. Fish was mighty tasty as well. From what I've heard, there should be as many, if not more this year, so we're trying to get am earlier start at 10:00. Mark
