1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

We recently took this L.C. Smith (circa 1927) Crown grade in on consignment from one of our customers. The gun is in 98%+ condition and is fully functional. Rare Monte Carlo factory stock and wide beaver tail fore end make this vent rib gun a rare and valuable find. Bores are perfect and there are no signs of any wear on the gun.

Please email or call us if you have an interest in this fine piece.

    Thanks for looking,

    Jim,

I understand your point, however my post was meant to do two things: 1. Develop possible interest in the gun for sale. 2. Let my friends and fellow shooters enjoy some pictures of an American classic. It's not all about the money. I have been selling guns for 35 years, this is one of the rarest finds I have made. Check out the rest of the pictures on our web site. Enjoy,

    Bob

    Jim,

That eliteist attitude doesn't wash around here. I guarentee there are quite a few folks on here that appreciate the classic doubles including myself. And I've had the privilege of owning some pretty rare example myself.

    Old Smoker,

I was thinking the same thing! Would be really interesting to hear of the shoots and the people involved with the gun over its history.

Manufacture date 1928. Owner told me '27...

One of 600 or so made from 1913 to 1940. Each one was special ordered to customer specs. 32" barrels are rare.
