This should come as no surprise. From todays Los angeles Times:

"IRAN: Tehran carefully rooting for Obama
Is Iran gunning for a victory by presidential candidate Barack Obama?

Depends on whom you ask. But, yeah. It is.

Despite the official line that it won’t make any difference who wins the U.S. presidency (after all, they say, America is totally under the thumb of “Zionists"), Iranians are watching the U.S. elections closely and rooting for a victory by the Illinois senator, who has said he's willing to agree to unconditional talks with Iran.

Not only is Obama’s middle name Hussein that of the prophet Mohammad’s grandson (revered as the saint of all saints by Iran’s majority Shiites) but the candidate’s foreign policy seems light years away from the saber-rattling of President Bush and Sen. John McCain, the presumptive Republican nominee."

Why would anyone that values their guns want a democrat elected? Explain please. Iran wants sanctions lifted so they continue their nuclear and "religious" (power) conquest. Obama is after his own power conquest, and he is willing throw his country's safety under the bus to get it.

Of course they want him to win. Read his own words from one of his mighty books:

From Audacity of Hope: 'I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.'

How this guy ever got to be a Presidential candidate shows the desperation of the liberals.

It doesn't show their desperation. Far from it. If they were truly desperate for power at _any_ cost, they'd pick Shrillary. She's the "sure thing," the compromise choice who would win for certain in November, albeit at some small potential cost to their long-term ideals. What their dalliance with Obama reveals is their unalloyed idealism. They don't want a compromise choice, even if she's guaranteed to win. They want to go all the way, and truly believe they can pull it off this time (even though it didn't work the past 2 times). Even after being out for 8 years, they still have enough naive idealism to send a flawed, possibly unelectable wacko lefty into the ring.

Here's hoping they pay dearly for it!

If Obsoma gets elected, he will have a sleep over with Iran in the White House.

Obsoma's campaign war chest has a ton of money vs. McCain. The lib left will be buying the presidency for their boy.
