Is the KX-5 being discontinued for real this time. Rumors of its discontinuance have been in the air for two years and yet new guns continue to be available.

Anyone have any hard info? I shoot one and enjoy it.

When I was at Ottsville in the fall the service manager told me that they were discontinued, when the remaining stock was gone thats it.

Why would they discontinue their only lower cost offering? This would price many out of the brand.

Would parts for the KX-5 be an issue in the future or do you just not need parts for them?

Only one reason. Not enough profit.

Maybe for the same reason Porsche stopped making a lower cost model. Bad marketing issue. Keep the brand on the upper end to increase margins...SMOKIT

End of product life cycle. The Sporting Clays market generates the highest sales volume with production oriented toward guns that are selling!!
