KX-5 dead and gone, I don

From everything I read here and other places Krieghoff was to cease manufacture of the KX-5. Joel Etchen and Jaquas both have 2010 models for sale.

    What's the deal?

BeBop; that would be a "tropical delusion" of one's imagination, eh?

The KX-5 is not dead but I believe there will bo no more of the Mfgd, Kreighoff has seen the lite and seen it become a dead horse in sales, They know they have to come out w/something to compete against the Kolar T/S and the CG.

Wait till the grand and see if something new is on the horizion from Kreighoff.

There has been some problems with the KX-5 broken extractors, POI not making it's advertised POI.

    But that is minor.

It looks to me like the KY is working real well in this thread...like the manufacturer says, even they can't think of another use for it!

    Cheers

I don't know about the ejectors, mine is fine (though I do wish it would only eject after shooting) but I'll second that the POI may not get to 90% as advertised without some longer comb pegs. All the same, I shoot mine pretty flat - so no big deal. Swings like it has eyes - love mine.

My Dad's ejector broke after about 8k rounds. It would be nice if it only ejected after being fired. He loves it and had 50 straight in league last Sunday at the Carey Conservation Club. His shoots about 80-20 for him as set.
