Ohio's goofy liberal Dennis Kucinich, who took an ultra-strong stand against the health care bill since last summer, just announced that he will cave-in and vote for it. One ride on AirForce One and a little pressure from the unions and he totally flip-flopped.

And get this -- he revealed during a radio interview that he still doesn't like the bill but added, "They put me in a position where my vote could actually be the deciding vote and I'm not willing to be the one who kills this bill." So I ask you -- if you're only willing to vote your conscience when it is meaningless (not pivotal), then aren't you essentially admitting that you're a two-faced scumbag?

I never liked Kucinich's liberalism but at least he used to stick to his guns when he was young and still had a little testosterone in his blood. Now he's officially sold his soul to the Socialist Party (Democrat). Wow, there is truly no shame at all left in American politics. I continue to wonder just how much real Americans are willing to take as their country gets flushed down the tubes. Shame on us for tolerating this. Look what we're letting the federal government do to our kids and grandkids. Shame on all of us.

I don't believe for one microsecond that he WASN'T going to vote FOR this crappy bill. He was just holding out until he got his palms greased. All this hogwash about not liking the bill is so he can claim he had "reservations" about it when his feet get held to the fire.

Brian is correct. This bill had him from Hello...it was only a matter of what his price would be.

How about his wife getting appointed to some healthy food committee YESTERDAY with/by mich obama? Think that had anything to do with it? The way this government/country is being run would make our forefathers roll over in their graves. Harv Shell

Well, maybe one of those UFO's he claims to have seen will swoop down before the vote and carry him for vivesection.

Or better yet, maybe that red-haired amazon he's married to will roll over and smother the little elf in his sleep...

Hopefully when you said Kucinich held out "until he got his palms greased" you meant with some future political favors and not outright bribery. My friends in Cleveland tell me that Kucinich lives in a modest home in a modest neighborhood and has never fallen into the trappings of wealth or political payola. A hit contract was actually put out on him when he was mayor of Cleveland back in the 70s because he took the garbage contract away from the mob, who had held it for years, and gave it to a legitimate company to save the citizens money. He literally risked his life for his constituents. One of the first acts of his successor George Voinovich (a republican by the way) was to immediately give the garbage contract back to the mob. Say what you want about kooky liberal Kucinich but in the past he always stood by his guns, went to bat for his constituents, and returned their phone calls personally.

Now he's just a common traitor like the rest of the Democrats. Another sad milestone for what used to be America, and yet another reason the flag I fly will always have 13 stars.

It is a sad day for the people of Ohio. At least I have Jim Jordan representing me. He holds trap shoots at the Cardinal Center to raise his money. He voted no to the Bush bailouts and ALL of Obama's crap.

Chicago politics at its finest and the rest of the country gets to pay for it....

Hopefully the people will stand up and vote all of these traitors out of office. They are not listening to the American people. The only problem is, I don't think we will be able to withstand the economic disaster the health care bill will pose to our society. Don't think for a second that we can't get back to a period such as the great depression.

Kucinich has been a moron for at least 30 years. He was such a dipsh!t as Cleveland's mayor there was a serious effort to recall him. The electorate nicknamed him "Dennis the Menace" for a reason.

Gary, buying a vote is buying a vote. It's a pretty damn fine line between bribery and "future political favors".

Too bad they didn't approach him about keeping the Grand. I'm sure he would have "stood tall".

Ohio voters are as bad as Florida voters. Unfortunately it will take a year to find out who got what and how much the bribe was to vote the Obamacare way. This will give the yellow journalism crowd time to learn what accurate reporting really is. (doubtful but hopeful)

All these turn coats are getting what they can out of this administration before they get dumped and we can`t do a thing about it . The Democrats that baled out before the vote are in the same boat . They could have had the biggest lock on getting this Bill thrown out . Just remember at the next election but it will be too late , they will have it in the works for the next administration to deal with . Maybe it can be repealed if it does go thru ??

It's doubtful that it would be repealed. The Republicans would not only have to take the House, but would also have to have a "super" majority in the Senate. Then, of course, Obama would veto it and you need a 2/3s vote to override a veto. But we can always hope. Bob K

The people of Ohio keep voting him in! Pergaps it is a good thing that the Grand has moved. Maybe it is something about Ohio which makes the voters schmucks and just being in the state might mean catching it.
