The KTA is not open for any scheduled practice times until a day or two befoe a registered trap shoot. I belive the Ark Valley Gun Club (just east of the KTA on the same mile of road - 117th ST) is open on weekends for trap and skeet practice. You might give them a try.

Sounds like you ran into one of the KTA "good ole boys" that has a key to the club house!

I am a member of the Ark Valley "SKEET" Club. I just like to practice with a full squad if possible. Shooting alone doesn't really prepare you for a registered shoot.
    Thanks again.

Ark Valley is starting a wednesday evening league for trap shooters on April 6th. They emailed forms to sign up to all the members. Trophy fee is $10 and the usual $4 per round for the clays.
