1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

Whomever you had do that reblue- I wouldnt let them around an engraved gun again

Look at how they buffed off the engraving details on the bottom and edges

It was a very early gun but that doesnt mean that blue is more important than detail

    Regards from Iowa

These guns had old fashioned chisel engraving which lacked details from the get go. It was not until bulino technique was invented which allowed more detailed engraving. Germans were slow in adopting bulino.

Yea, you might not want to do to much buffing on that one. That would be the place to sell it, by the way. Jon

I was just going with Gene's reply. I don't see any area that is gone in the engraving that he is talking about. The thing I think he is refering to is the rim engraving under the birds. I don't think that they went all the way around with the rim engaved on the San Remo. It might just be glare from the flash. It could be that he is just giving you sh#$, also. Jon

Thanks Jon. Price lowered to $3477.777777 shipped. Few more examples of modern detailed engraving. I rubbed my hands on these engravings. They are flat and smooth.

Oh I didnt realize this had been Ferlec gunsmithed by himself-

Barrel bulger- well buy it if you like it

That is not a San Remo top latch by the way.

Ferlecter was trying to purchase one on this forum- made a deal with someone and then backed out

And he was trying to purchase an oversized top latch- does that tell you something?

a lot of engraving detail is missing on the surface of the bottom scroll work and from the birds

Serial number range? low- not good- and I dont know if they called them san remos at this point in the production but I do know that isnt a san remo top latch

3500? are you seriously thinking you can pull a wool cap down that far?

Brownells blue remover? you used that ferlicker? Well what did you blue it with then? cold blue?

Regards from Iowa to bulger and ferlicker- two birds of a feather flocking together

hmm did that have a jingle to it?

How many different patterns were available for the San Remo grade. The one I'm currently working on has a pointer with two birds on the left side and only two Daffy Ducks on the right.

Gene, you are one piece of work. Never a kind word. Work was substituted for another not so nice word. Bulge.

Barrel bulger- remember when you tried to sell that 45 auto with the serial number filed off for was it 5000 or 8000 dollars as a special ops weapon fron WWII?

Did I not warn you immediately that that was not a good idea?

    Same thing here with ferlicker

    Just trying to help-

    Regards from Iowa

You don't try to help anyone. You're a lousy POS that only worries about yourself. So don't try to give me that kindness crap. Not from you. Bulge

PS: Are you off your meds today or on the bottle?

I think it is time for a drink. Its not five O'clock here, and it really does not matter if it is somewhere.

Ferlach, now that this thread is destroyed, you might want to relist and let them go at it on this one. Jon

No one asked for your help. If you are not interested in buying, just put a lid on it and preserve your respect.
    <br>
You also wrote on my last post sale that it will never be sold. It was sold in 30 minutes. Picture below.

You relisted that gun so many times no one could tell if it was coming or going didnt you ferlicker?

What did that beauty sell for anyway?

    Inquiring minds want to know

Did someone from here purchase it?

What I am really curious about is if barrel bulger traded that "special ops" 45 for it?

    Regards from Iowa

    Gene
