Anyone know what number a twisted sister stock for a standard rib Kolar combo would be? Better yet, could someone PM me a couple pics of one?

Are you by any chance from Missouri ? If you will be at Linn Creek this Saturday you can look at mine and try it on a practice trap. I got mine through a series of trades so I am not sure who made mine (kolar, Wenig) but mine has a LOT of right offset and pretty much twist.

Probably their #4 stock is what you're looking for...more info on their web site.

I have one that was made by Kolar. None of there standard numbers fit me right so they made a special one to fit me. Everyone that has ever tried my gun has said that it fits the best they have ever had. Maybe you should have them fit one for you. It really made a differance.

Is "Twisted Sister" a brand name or just a style? I have a Kolar with a TS stock and it fits and shoots beautifully.

    Thanks,

    Doc

Thanks for the pics RA Scott. Holy smokes thats some offset. The drop at heel and toe out of the pad it what Im looking for. Maybe #3 stock, I'm tall and lanky. Might just have to bite the bullet and head to Racine! Thanks Again.

I don't get the concept of twisted sister stock. A lot of offset, a serious drop at the heel, and a twist so that the toe of the pad doesn't gouge your shoulder pocket: Does this apply to someone with an average body build or someone with a heavy chest and long neck ?? I have a conventional Perazzi stock with minimal offset or cast and an adjustable butt plate which I drop down and twist a bit. Would the twisted sister give me the head up gun mount or is it a special body build stock ??

I tried a adjustable but plate.I had it with a pretty good twist,so that the pad fit right in my shoulder pocket. I bought my kolar used (slightly used) and saved a good chunk of change. I shot it for about a year and was kind of inconsitant. whith the pad turned the stock would hit my chest.
Finaly I made the trip to kolar. Met Jeff and he did a great job. If I do my part it is a pleasure to shoot. My favorite days are the 300 target days not allot of sitting around, and no sore face or mouse. Jeff actually called it a screwed up #4 his words but it fits great.

Bob S, Very similar story. Ive shot a 90t with adjustable comb and jones adjustable pad with good results since 1997. I final bought a nice used Kolar combo a few weeks back and would like to get it fitted by Kolar, as this will be the last trap gun I buy. LOL

    Kolar twisted sister is a # 4.

You Perazzi guys just stick with that straight "knotty pallet" wood that Perazzi puts on everything they make.
