kolar sub ga tube set info needed.

    looking to order a set of chokes for my 20ga. tubes.need mod and imp mod. not sure which set i have, aaa max sk. or aaa max cl. how can i tell which one i have?also they ask for constriction, is this the number 516 engraved on each tube ? it is on the 20- 28 and 410 tubes. before i order a set anyone have a used set that would fit my 20 ga. tubes that they would part with?

    The number 516 may be related to the serial number of your gun or barrel. They scribe a number as the tubes are fitted to individual guns. Best regards, Ed

    Each of my Kolar tubes has a number delineating the bore diameter of the 12 ga barrel they are fitted to, as well as another number for the bore diameter of the sub-gauge tubes. My 20-28 and 410 bores are .620, .555 and .425 respectively. Any choke tubes you ordered would have to have an outside diameter to fit your 12 ga barrel and be sized to give you the constriction you need given the bore of your sub-gauge tube.

    Best you call Kolar directly. They likely will want you to send them one of your 20 ga tubes.
