I did just have the ejecter break on my Top Single barrel after about 80 to 100 thousand rounds through that barrel. Replacement was no charge.

15K rounds and more each year through my Kolar and never a problem, but it is about time for an annual. Actually out of all the guns I've shot thousands and thousands of rounds including my 1100, 3200, Browning Citori Traps, & XT's, 90T and now my Kolar, I've never experienced broken anythings on any of them. Must be either luck of the draw, or good maintenance on my part.
Kolar is about as solid of a gun as you can find.

Mine is 3 1/2 and has no problems. The matt finish on the barrels are bare in spots from my hands. I am going to get them blued or a teflon finish applied. This Kolar is the best gun that I have ever owned. Mike

No firing pin problems on either Kolar. Call them, they will look after you, at least that has been my experience. Bill Malcolm

None. Best service in anything I have ever owned, not just for guns either.

I had an ejector break in the top barrel of my o/u. It was repaired in 15 minutes and no charge. They give the best service and are the nicest guys to deal with.

No problems yet, best gun I've ever shot. It's kept me on the 27 for the last 2 years.

Asking for a bud who has had 2 break suspiciously and I thought I'd ask. Being we're in Northern IL, the trip up to Kolar is close enough, but I wanted to get some feedback from the community...

regards to all and thanks for responding,

Can't say enough good about the Kolar folks. I've had 3 Kolar combos over the last 5 years and never a problem with any of em'. Had to send wifes trigger back to have it "adjusted" to suit her and they turned it out the same day. You'll be pleased with anything they do for you.

Keep your eye on Jeff and Keith, they drink cheap beer, but can't hold that against em'. They do share with others!!

Mine is serial 80X. Yep, its that old. Have about 150,000 shells through her and it has never been taken apart beyond dropping the trigger after shooting in the rain. New the trigger was at 2.5 (lower) and 2.75 pounds pull. Still are!

One of these days I probably should send it back for a go through, but I'm in no hurry. bob finger
