Kolar chokes .750 or .740 or.742 how can you tell

    Actually, the factory Kolar choke has the bore size etched on the choke top, right next to the constriction size. If you need a photo, I can post that.

    The older .740 chokes are extended by about 1/2" and are blued. The .750 and newer .740 chokes are marked with the bore and constriction. Bill Malcolm

    A bore gauge is the easiest way,but, if you don't have one you can use an inside caliper.

    Doesn't really matter since they won't screw into the wrong barrel.
