Congratulations to Shena Stoddard on winning the Kinsley Handicap today with a 98. She is the granddaughter of Frank and Mary O'brien. Also, congratulations to all the many '100 straight' shooters on Saturday and today. Weather conditions weren't the best, in fact, kind of hard to believe it is actually springtime.

The new Pat Traps the club recently installed really give nice target presentation against an open background. Congratulations to the officers and directors of the Kinsley Gun club on another 'fine shoot'.

Look forward to seeing you all at the Kansas State Shoot June 8-12th.

    Wilbur and Beccy Landgraf

p.s. Forgot to mention, that Shena is a junior shooter and shooting some mighty fine scores lately!!

That's great news to hear! Shena is also the defending Kansas State Ladies Singles Champion, so we know the young lady can shoot!

    Way to go, Shena!

Thanks for the kind words about Shena and the shoot. Artie Meier, Carey McAllister and Cecil Offerle (One of our locals just starting to shoot again) deserve all the credit for getting the new Pat Traps installed in time for the shoot. Artie was the head target setter, and from the scores, he did a heckuva job.

About Shena, I've taught her everything she knows . . . . Ha. The truth is, she developed her own style, Mary talks to her a little about mental management, and I stay out of the way.
