Just like the title says Kingsburg Gun Club will be hosting their winter chain shoot this coming weekend. Hope to see some of you there.

    HI:

I am planning to be there with a buddy for my first ATA shoot in about twenty years.

What is the backdrop like, is it normally windy; I hear the birds are fast.

    Any comments appreciated.

    Regards, and good shooting,

    Dave

Dave, Houses 1-4 have trees in the background that can cause a little problem with the target. However 4 has a structure in the back ground which can make it challenging. What will probably happen during the shoot they will start off with house 4, using 5, 6, 7 & 8.

The targets are legal not fast and not slow, just right.

Oh yeah, I meant to comment on that too. They will fly 40-42 mph. Kingsburg is pretty anal about the targets.

I want to make a correction. The club will be using 8 houses for this weekend.

Weather forcast is for 70s on Sat. and Sunday with a chance of showers late Sun.
Looks like a great weekend for our first shoot of this year.

What a gorgeous day to shot today. Let's hope the rain will hold off until later in the day tomorrow.
