    Looking for recipe for Killens (sp) Red cleaning Solvent. I had it, put it somewhere safe and it is still there. Thanks, Jake

    I've drank many Killians Red while cleaning my guns.

    I've never used Ed's Red solvent, but I guess it's good stuff.

    The above website has info on Ed's Red.

    Ed's Red is excellent solvent and very inexpensive. i used the formula with real turpentine, acetone and I added lanoline. This is the best over-all bore wash I've ever used, period. Best part, a gallon of it is less than $15.00
