Does anyone know of, or owned, or used any shotgun made by Kawaguchiya Firearms Co., Ltd., Tokyo? Commonly known as KFC, was imported by LaPaloma Marketing, Tucson, AZ. These might be predecessors to modern Miroku guns. Especially interested in experience with sideXside guns. Who knows?

I have a KFC model 250 12 guage semi-auto, with external choke tubes.

It has the strangest operating mechanism I've ever seen on a shotgun.

They also made Over/Unders, although I have never seen one.

I don't believe they were connected with Kawaguchia, but I might be mistaken.

The choke tubes are funny..... The Skeet one is about an inch and a half long, the Half choke (about Modified) is around 2 inches long, and the Full is about 3 inches.

Someday, if I ever get around to it, I want to have the tubes engraved, then gold or silver filled, with "REGULAR", "SPICY", and "EXTRA CRISPY".

I haven't heard of a side by side one...........
