CNN shows Kennedy throwing pitch for Red Sox after brain surgery......I wonder if he would still be here if he had to depend on national health care???

An interesting side light was that Sen. Kennedy required that the scouts had to register their radar guns before they entered the stadium.

It is a shame that they would not let him be the batter.

I was disgusted at his standing ovation. I'm so glad that I'm moving out of the northeast!

It appeared as if he had never had a hardball in his hand. He tossed that ball like a little girl.

"Standing ovation for Teddy the killer? I hope the damn Red Sox never win another game."

So typical of you Blame the Red Sox because the Liberals of that neck of the woods give Fat Teddy a standing ovation. Does that mean that if the fat one had dropped dead throwing out the first pitch you would feel differently.

You could never understand what was taking place on that field. I don't feel this way but you will have to see it from the land of liberals. To them Kennedy is royalty he can do no wrong. How do you think he has been in office for over 30 years? You can't blame the Sox for that.

I'll bet Mary Jo's friends & parents would like to throw something at big fat Teddy! A hand grenade would be fitting.

The fact that any of you care at all about Ted is in itself disturbing! Phil

On the bright side, on opening day last year at Wrigley, all the fans gave Jesse Jackson a rousing cheer of disapproval as he managed to get in the way of a camera! I am happy to say that I was one of those enthusiastically booing!

The "Curse of The Bambino" must not have made an impression on them. Now they are going for the "Sox-Pox."

I could see him throwing out the first empty Scotch bottle, but not a baseball.
