Dan's pretty good too, but he got lucky today. There were an amazing number of easy answers none of them knew the question to and that final Jeopardy answer was a giveaway; half the people here would have gotten it:

"This world-changing event took place in Barcelona in April, 1493."

That would be about the time Columbus got back home, wouldn't it?

I new Kenny well when he shot trap. Shot doubles like a machine. Will put a picture on here later. In the 70's he was the class act in North Dokota. His Dad was George Jennings...

I remember watching Ken shoot doubles on a squad following Britt and Dan B. He didn't get the first target any quicker than they did but Lord, he was much quicker going from the first to the second. I would have paid to watch him.

Neil - Actually everybody got it wrong. They said they announced Columbus had found the New World. They didn't know that. Neither did Columbus. At best, they could have said that Columbus returned from his westward voyage across Ocean Sea and found some islands he thinks are the EAST Indies.

And some guy name Bob Newhart is talking about some leaves he brought back. He says you roll them up, light them on fire, and stick them in your ear...or someplace.

I remember Ken Jennings, I shot with him and two young brothers from Canada in the Clay Target Championship at the Grand in 1968. I was 14 and I think Ken was younger and without shoes. Ken Jeffries
