    No one who has used their own hard earned money to purchase a nice desk would ever do that. I doubt if he used his own money to buy much of anything.

    My wife said she had seen those photos of other presidents with their feet propped up on the front as they were sitting in the chair. It's still a very poor presidential image no matter who it is.

    If he didn't change it, that should be the desk given from Queen Victoria in the 1800s.
