why not just construct a new building on the original grounds and keep it where it was meant to be.if the osta is willing to donate 100k for cardinal.then they can donate it to keep it in vandalia. wouldnt it be nice to leave it where it is?it just wouldnt be the same anywhere else.history is history and trap history is vandalia, has been and always will be.hell lets move the washington monument while were at it.wouldnt be the same would it?just think of all the 100s of thousands of people who have been to vandalia the millions of shots fired the 100s of millions of targets thrown over the 100 years its been there.let it stand where it has for so many years and many more to come.

Curt- The relocation money belonged to the ATA. The Hall of Fame is a separate corporation independent of the ATA. The H of F currently sits on land that is leased from the Airport. The building is located in a runway clear zone and is in violation of FAA standards. The Airport is not in a hurry to require that we leave the building, but at some point we will be asked to leave. It is better for us to move on our schedule and not a schedule developed by the Airport.

It is true that the H of F does not now have the funds to move. I suspect Jim Bradford will soon call me, and others, and apply some gentle arm twisting.

I think the ATA has already sold the property to the airport. The sale will be completed after lead clean up. In the meantime we have a lease on the offices.
