Kathy McLean, passed away at her Silver Dollar home on September 4th. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her. Kathy's eyesight was not very good but it didn't stop her from shooting over 100,000 lifetime 16 yd targets. She was a good and honest person.Good bye Kathy. Frank

I am so sorry to hear this...I've known Kathy since our trapshooting days in MN, many, years ago. I loved how she kept people "inline" on this forum. Yes, she will be missed.

I met Kathy about 20 years ago at the old Orlando gun club. She John Findorff were selling guns and doling out encouragement to all the shooters. I liked her immediatly for her honest straight forward personality and, as mentioned above, her ascerbic dry wit.

We both were Ljutic dealers for some time and she was a fixture in the Ljutic building for many years. We had seriously different political views so our discussions could be interesting and somewhat heated ... but that was the fun.

Kathy was a shooter and one of the best gun fitters I ever knew. She had a real gift for helping new shooters as well.

    Kathy, you will be missed.
