Harlan won the singles with a lone 200.

Ron Watson doubles champion with a lone 98 in state. Denis Bringleson out of state with a 98.

Harlan and Dean Dierkson tied for handicap with 99's. I left and don't know who won the shootoff.

    Harlan in state HAA 396.

Jim, attendance was good. Believe over 100 squads in yesterday's singles. I believe I shot with a good friend of yours from Arizona today. Lone Tree Gun Club ring a bell? Would liked to have talked to him more, but we started the hdc. with a 30-40 mph wind from the south and shot the last 50 in a downpour.

I headed for cover and changed clothes before heading north. Just got some stuff unpacked and emptied the water out of my bbl and squirted in some oil. Also spent a lot of time talking to Bob S.

Decent day Fri. when I got down there, but the wind was relentless for Sat. and today. Better finish unpacking and drying some things out before going to bed. Talk to you at the next shoot. Steve

Conditions were difficult. Very windy, out of the south.

Sunday continued very windy, then downpours, then the winds changed to out of the west.

The good shooters shot well, despite the conditions.

Hacks like me struggled mightily, and shot abyssmal scores.

Watching the seemingly random trajectory of the doubles targets was almost comical.

Lots of SCTP kids there. Probably 25% of the singles event entries were SCTP.

Harlan won a two round handicap shootoff.

There were 190 junior and sub junior shooters out of 540 total (35%) on Saturday.
Less than 50 were SCTP shooters . . . . about 80 shot for ATA Hall of Fame team and novice trophies only and many were from out of state.

16 year old Shena Stoddard won the lady singles, handicap and all around and missed tieing for the doubles by one.

She may be related to someone I know.

    Steve,

I know who that is. Don't play 4 point pitch with him. Thanks for the report.

Bas, not all the scores are posted yet. They don't have any of the HOA or HAA yet. We left Sunday at 6:30 and they still didn't have the handicap scores in yet. We couldn't wait any longer so we left to drive back to Texas. I would like to know who won though. Thanks

    shootlow,

Could have been me. i shot the HOF handicap on Friday.

I looked for you during the weekend, but never saw you.

I saw Martin, Lorna, gcbluerock, Greg Hissem, and proobably more that I'm leaving out.

Met Jimmy Borum (jbbor.) He was parked right next to us.

Met Phil Kiner, and he was gracious enough to have a look at my daughter's gun fit.

Didn't see the Prince of Darkness, though Ron Watson thought he was going to be there on Sunday.

    Sorry I missed you.

    Tim
