K80 turkish walnut stock set

    Just finished a set of Left hand trap wood for my K80. I have not checkered it , still desideing what pattern, I also made a black leather covered pad for it and a 16 kt gold grip cap. Thought I give some pictures to look at,let me know what you think. THANKS Ronnie

    Avalds, I did not take any pictures of the blanks before I started. I am planing to put the stock set on a Gold Super Scroll that receiver and iron is blued. I will post more pictures when checkered and carved boarders. thanks Ronnie

    Where did that blank come from? This is by far the best set of wood that has been posted in years on ts.com.

    That wood is awfully busy with all the swirls and lines. Now my old MX 8 had few lines and they were very straight ( recovering from being a boat paddle). Almost makes me want a K80.

    Beautiful job on spectacular wood.

    Thanks Steve, that was the best grade stock blanks I have worked on, I know you looked hard for that set of blanks, Lets hope your next set that is in the works looks as good. thanks Ronnie
