K80 standard weight vs K80 lightweight alloy frame

    Looking for some info on the K80 lightweight alloy frame are they as good as the standsrd weight frame and do they hold uo to shooting trap with 3 dram
    loads

    Told by Dupont they are good for somebody that shoots 10k a year.
    If they crack you get a $ allowance on another lightweight or steel.

    I also have one with skeet barrel and tubes. I have some times used it with my unsingle barrel with 3 dram loads. It was well used when I bought it and I've put another 100k through it. Recently the hammer pin got a little loose and would start to work out, but had an annual done on it and works great now. The shiny finish is wearing off and the alloy metal is softer than the steel and has gotten a few dings from putting the barrel on that the standard doesn't get. They are still a very durable gun.
