I love my pro sporter. It has great balance and I love shooting with my head up. I shoot it better than any other gun I have owned.

I like mine a lot. The first thing that I did was add an adjustable butt plate, stuck a mercury recoil reducer in the stock (10oz) and I set it up with the 60/40 shim. I now stack the beads and have a 70/30 POI that I can shoot Skeet, Trap and Sporting without a problem.

The ONLY thing that I didn't like was the universal palm swell. It's useless and I can't see how it would fit anyone. So, as you can see, I uglied mine up by taping one on out of frustration.

    GREAT gun!

I think the rib is about 5/8", but I don't have mine with me to give you a good measurement.
