I know that a K80 trigger guard will fit on a 32, but will a model 32 trigger guard fit on a K80. I have a custom stock by Docwiller for a 32 and I want to fit a K80 receiver to it without altering the wood. Thannks, Johnny Whidden

Johnny, I believe you have that backwards. I have both, and a 32 trigger guard will fit on K80 wood but a K80 trigger guard will not fit on 32 wood as it is oblong, not rounded like a 32.

The Model 32 triggerguard will fit on a K80 however, there will be a small gap where the cut out for the K80 guard was cut. The K80 guard will not fit the model 32 unless you remove a small amount of wood for the elongated tang on the K80 triggerguard. Bulge.

I agree with Barrelbulge and the beast and disagree with Gene. This is based on the 32 receiver I use when something breaks on my K-80. I have put the 32 receiver on my K-80 wood many times.

Gene is correct, I think he is speaking about Docwiller wood made for a Model 32 or K 32, that has not been cut out yet for a K80 ! B.C.

Guys, sorry for the confusion, I realize that I did not make myself very clear. I have a model 32 that came with a docwiller custom stock and I do not want to alter the stock. I have a K80 receiver and iron and want to use the K80 receiver on the 32 stock. My question is, will the model 32 trigger guard fit on the K80 receiver? Hey, I've been accused of a lot of things in my life, but being smart ain't one of them! LOL, thanks, Johnny Whidden

    I thought you were clear

Many people prefer the round trigger guard and replace a K80 with a K32

I have done that on engraved guns and on my hunting gun-- also use a K32 trigger in my hunting gun K80 receiver

    regards from Iowa

Yes it will fit on the receiver. The hole in the K-80 receiver seems to be the same thread as the hole in the K-32 receiver as I recall.
