I would like to remove/replace the barrel hangar on my K80 with factory choke tubes. I took a drift punch and removed the pin. The hangar did not readily slide out of the dovetail and off the barrel(s). I don't want to just start pounding on it - is there a tool for this or something I should consider I might have in the tool box or around the house ?

    Thanks in advance.

Spray some oil around dovetail on hanger and on barrel above hanger- muzzle pointed down

tap one side of hanger close to the middle

    go to the other side
