I am looking into purchasing a reliable used OU gun for singles, doubles, and the occasional round of sporting clays. It needs to be very neutral or with LH cast. I think I have settled on a K32, but have some questions about it. Thanks in advance for any and all answers.

    Can a K32 use K80 barrels?

Is the K32 San Remo a hunting gun, or will it handle 30000 targets a year like the K80?

    Will a K80 stock fit a K32?

Is the perceived recoil (balance) on a K32 decent?

A k32 can be fit with k80 barrels, the only difference is how the ejectors are held on

a san remo is a higher grade model and can take just as many shells as any other krieghoff

a k80 stock will fit but there will be a small gap at the back of the trigger guard as the shape is round on a 32 and pointed on a k80

they balance very well, right in the center of the reciever

( 7 year k32 shooter, mine easily has 150,000 shells through it)
my dad also has 3 of his own each with many shell through them

I have a Perazzi 2009 MX2000 R/S with 34 inch barrels that I shoot sporting clays with. I also just picked up a 1959 K32 I shoot it just as well as the perazzi and it is very well balanced with the 28 inch 12 gauge barrels that I have on it. The nice part about a K-32 that k32 barrels I have seen are half the price as k80 barrels, I bought a set of k-32 28 gauge Barrels and they went right on the gun with no gunsmithing. Now my buddy bought a 4 barrel set of k-80 barrels for his k32 and had to have them fitted. I guess you just get lucky sometimes.

I have an older K32 with K-80 upgraded wood and 30" barrels for sale. Briley chokes. Frame needs re-blued. I was going to send it in for nickle finish. Let me know.

    A 1959 K32?

Very few barrels will fit that gun correctly. Some can be "made" to fit but it wont be easy.

I would have a gunsmith check it before you say it fit right on

Gene the k32 28 gauge barrel had no problem going on, the fore-arm went right on, no different then the 12 gauge barrel, I put the Kreighoff 28 gauge snap caps in and felt good, shot it past saturday no problem. I shot a pair of 23 on the skeet field with I/C's and 25mph wind gust's. You just reminded me I need to call briely and get a pair of Skeet thin walls for it today.

I had a early K-80 the one with with the K80 on the side of the nickle reciever and I bought later model 4 barrel set for that gun and had to have them all fitted. I have a idea about guns just this one older one Im learning on. .

In the above photo you've got a pretty major gap (around the radius) between the front of the receiver and the forend iron. You might want to get that checked out. Maybe it is just the shadow in the photo, but it doesn't look typical....
    Best to you.
