Anyone know how to change out top latch on K-80? Is it very difficult for average shooter to do?

Requires almost complete dis assembly of the receiver, which is basically impossible without the right tools.

Why is the disassembly and servicing of a k-80 so secretive? Dennis P

Rick N. I currently own two k-80 trap combo guns and have done damn near all the service myself over a 15 year period without any failure which would prevent me from shooting in an event.Maybe I've been lucky but my point being even at gunsmith schools theres no printed k-80 data Why? Thanks Dennis P

I don't think it's a big secret. Kay Ohye has a video on K-80 repair, for example.

If all you want to do is remove the top latch, look on the web and buy a manual for the remington Model 32. There is a section on removing the top latch. Follow the instructions exactly and you will have no trouble. I have done this many times and it works. Bud Wood
