Need some help here. Is there a significant difference (height and width of rib, alignment with receiver), between K-80 sporting and o/u trap barrels? Any insight is greatly appreciated. Thanks

well there are differnet models and rib widths but no significant differnce- the POI for trap barrels might be slightly higher

Its a complicated topic but little difference

    regards

sporting barrels usually have the 12-8mm flat rib (or possibly 8mm parallel rib) , and will shoot pretty flat on both barrels if not tweaked w/ new barrel hangers. The trap barrels have a 12-8mm STEP rib, and will shoot high on the bottom barrel if not tweaked (probably about 60/40 on the bottom barrel, maybe a touch higher than 50/50 on the top). Both can probably be adjusted to shoot the POIs of the other with the right front and mid hangers.
