I am considering buying a K-80 lightweight and want to know if anyone has any info on what I can expect to pay. The one I am looking at is a K-80 lightweight with 28" barrels and factory chokes in excellent condition. The serial number is 14xxx. Thanks for any info.

The lightweight is every bit as good as the standard unit, in my opinion. You can usually get them for about 20% less than a standard unit because people are afraid of the aluminum receiver. Find comparable full iron units and deduct 20%. I have one and enjoy it although the receiver is only about 1 lb lighter that a standard unit. I don't know how it would hold up to 40 or 50,000 rounds a year.
