Just mailed this out today to our customer. He has not seen it yet and I wanted to let him have a sneek peek. It is a Krieghoff K-80 with the new Sporter Barrel set-up. The customer supplied the wood, it is English Walnut from Old Tree Gun Stocks. I hope that he likes the finished product and thank you for taking a look.

I look forward to you posting pictures of your work. After I get my Perazzi this fall I think I'm going to have you make me a stock for it next summer.

    Hey Pat,

Yes you will more than likely see the stock this weekend in Michigan. The owner will be picking it up from Kurt Grates tomorrow. It is a birthday present. Nice present for sure.

SO---i gotta ask the 64 dollar question, of which some seem to hide the answer when i ask them---how much money does this customer have wrapped up in this project? your work and wood cost?--- & how long did it take?

    Acss,

There are no hidden cost to build this stock the prices are very clear on our web site. Since the customer provided the wood I do not know the cost of that portion. The labor including the fitting fee was $ 2,400.00. This is in our cost on the web. It includes the labor to manufacturer both pieces, fitting fee for the bondo pattern and trip to the sporting clays range where the gentleman shot about 150 rounds to approve the pattern, high gloss finish, checkering, 4-way comb with washers, and the reoil pad. As stated there are really no hidden items that we do not cover in the initial set-up. We also install gun nuts in all of our stocks to use machine screws instead of wood screws. The only extra cost that can be incured is an additional recoil pad for winter time shooting and if a person wants a real fancy checkering pattern. The extra fancy checkering is priced at the time the customer picks the pattern out. The checkering pattern on the gun shown above was in our standard price and did not cost extra. Thank you for asking the question.
