While putting Running Bear in his place, I thought up a new game.

Shooter and a puller, one on one, taking turns in each role until a given amount of targets is fired upon.

    Shooter loads and calls "ready."

Puller stands behind and to the right of the shooter (or left, shooter's choice) and has five seconds to hand throw a target into the field, at any elevation or speed, provided it crosses a set distance. The target may be thrown flat, on end, or any variation in the middle. Targets may not be nicked to affect flight, but breaking pitches are allowed.

Shooter fires, and hits and losses are counted. Five shots, per inning, and five inning games.

Now, there's a game. What's your fastball look like, Don?

My fastball is pretty good for an old guy. Of course I played ball until I was 45. You want to get a bat and try your luck or are you CS.

At what time do they cut the power off at the home where they keep you?? Do they take away your name and give you a number??

You are still a freaking idiot.

    Don

So, Don, how many "pitches" do you think you could hit? Do you think you could blow any by another shooter? Would you ever try this game?

That Helice game doesn't look exactly like what I'm thinking about.

If you're ever on the hill, I'd love to step in.

Is this supposed to be a shooting contest or a throwing contest? It's nothing new many of us started out with hand throwers and buddys, making a sport out of it sounds like a disaster just with the rules alone. What do you do with wheelchair shooters, otherwise disabled shooters?

ccw1911, how do those shooters participate in the Biathlon?

"Is this supposed to be a shooting contest or a throwing contest?"

Is Baseball a hitting contest or a throwing contest?

    I've just proposed a full-on sport.

"It's nothing new many of us started out with hand throwers and buddys"

Then you're familiar with the idea. Were you, however, keeping score and trying to get your buddy to miss?

Have y'all noticed indyblowgun's post times? What we have here is just an adolescent little school boy. I'll bet he's the pride of his middle school. I now know why you can't meet up to shoot, you don't even have your license yet.

    Trap2

Now you went and upset the applecart.. Indy was going to put full claim on that as his idea.

Heck, we were do that about 10 years before I started shooting registered targets.. something to waste shells on after rabbit hunting. BUT ours was not the same as his.. we didn't keep score. It was all for laughs and bragging rights.

Mark and Trap2, Helice is interesting, and thank you showing it to me, but it's not close to being the game I invented.

I know that if I hand threw you some targets, I'd be laughing pretty hard.

Are you coming down for the Dixie, Southern, FL State shoots.. I'm pretty sure just about any of the clubs here will allow us to try the "new" game you invented.

Also, I know we're not like best buddies or anything is it ok if I call ya Don Indy just seems so impersonal ??

Lagarto, I insist that you call me Don Indy. I'll further insist that you kiss my ring as a sign of respect.

You think the Dollar would let us play that game? I doubt it. They couldn't sell us one of their gold arcade tokens if we're doing the throwing, ourselves, and conservative people generally hate trying or seeing anything new.

    Don Indy
