I don't think most of the shooters on here are to concerned with that. To stop and reverse the sitution might cause some of the shooters an inconvience. Wild Bill

Parts of that article have been policy for decades. Not exactly earth shattering news.

If you voted for a democrat, your part of the problem.

Zel Miller was the only ONE I knew who was pro Second Amendment and couldn't be bought off of his stance!!!

All the rest have sold this county down the river to socialism.

And a vote for a third party is an automatic vote for Obama's socialistic agenda and choice of nomination(s) for the SCOTUS and other federal judges slots (those are for life as well, those are the ones who in most cases end up making it to the circuit courts of appeals)all across the land. To not vote at all is also a vote for Obama. Those libs have everything to gain and the rest of us everything to lose.

If given the choice between Romney, or Obama getting a second four year term; I am going with Romney!

If people think Obama is bad now wait until he has the next four years locked in!

Many people have said over the years and it still holds true... What does every first term Republican and Democratic administration agree on? Answer: The desire to win a second term!

We have witnessed Obama acting on his best behavior the past 3+ years! It only continues to goes down hill from here for those that are or lean towards the conservative side.

Republicans should have chosen a better candidate. Don't blame those of us who will not vote for Romney. We're not taking a bite of the crap sandwich being served up to us. Blame those who voted for him in the primaries. The fault lies with them for supporting a backstabbing gun banning socialist health care loving liberal. If you voted for Romney in the primaries you're the problem.

So-called Republicans are 0's best vote getter. Not voting, in protest should silence you from the discussion,,,,,if you don't vote, you don't have any rights to bitch, no, your the problem. Bill Clinton proved Republicans were his best friend. You're either for 0, or your against him.....there ain't no middle.

I can just hear them now, the no-voters whining and crying that the sky is falling after 0 gets re-elected and they will claim it was everyone else that caused it. The underground gun traders are stocking up, they cannot wait to cash in again on 0.

In this life, we are rarely presented with ideal choices. This is where being pragmatic matters. Sometimes there is such a thing as being an idealist and a fool. Chichay

Well, I see 221 not only believes no one has a right to vote other than how he dictates, he also has decided they have no free speech as well. How Soviet of him.

And as far as Daddy Bush vs Clinton goes, it was a draw. Because Daddy Bush was going to support the same gun ban Clinton signed. No loss. And Bob Dole voted for the 1994 ban. Again no loss when Clinton beat him. You really need to come up with better examples.

"Pragmatic" must mean to be anal raped by those you support without even the common courtesy of a reach around.

No bio, you can vote for whomever you wish,,,,,but your liberal name calling and now your claim your not going to vote because you do not like Romney. That tells me your a troubled fellow that actually believes people will feel lost with out your participation. Well we don't need guys like you, you are not the voice of america, and your surely not the voice of the firearms owners. You only speak for yourself....which is great, it's the american way. But you will spend the next 4 yrs. running off at the mouth how everyone "Ruined" your paradise, and your no vote in protest was to show us how stupid we were to vote. Ya sound like a union man that will bankrupt a company because he cannot get along. If you cannot play, no one else is going to play either.

No brian, your on the outside looking in, and most of us could care less. Guys like you never change, you get a fight started, let the others fight it, then you come blazing in on your white horse yelling victory.

    What utter nonsense.

You demand we vote for YOUR candidate, and resort to the usual worn out tactics of "lesser of two evils" and "you're supporting Obama".

Then when that doesn't work, you decide our votes don't amount to anything anyway, and are not needed to get Romney elected. You "don't need us."

Then you resort to a pathetic character assassination attempt and namecalling.

And if you think voting for someone other than Romney is to "show how stupid you are", well, I don't need to show that because you prove how stupid you are almost every time you post.

My reason for not voting for Romney is very simple. Some of us have principles and will vote our conscience, and our conscience is not to vote for those who are banning our firearms while LYING that they support the Second Amendment. Yes, LYING, because a politician cannot brag about banning guns and then turn around and claim he supports the Second Amendment. That dog won't hunt. I'm willing to tolerate a lot of things in a politician, but I will not compromise on the Second Amendment.

Going further, the problem is that the demographics of the GOP favor baby boomers who will support a liberal like Romney, because they don't want to see cuts in their own entitlements. Once they accepted government pork the hook was set. They're now in a cultural war for control of the GOP, and they are trying to make hard core pro-gunners and tea partiers irrelevant. Instead of standing together, they see no problem with banning the other guy's guns, or making their grandchildren pay for their entitlements, or passing bad laws like the Patriot Act. The word RINO wasn't coined without reason. The GOP is split, and the rift is getting bigger. It may have reached the point where the GP will never again be able to get a liberal like Romney into the White House.

But hey, our votes don't count and are not needed, so why worry? Only Romney can win anyway, right?

    Good luck with that.

I don't care if Romney is Martian! He is NOT Obama. That's good enough for me.

This is not a perfect world and democracy is certainly not the best political system - but it is the best one we have! Remember, "politics is the art of compromise". That is more true today in a divided country than ever. Also, keep in mind that if Reagan ran today, he would probably not be a shoo-in either.

Do you libs all get up in the morning and take the same stupid pill every day?

This election is about more than a SINGLE issue. Came to this country half a century ago because of the freedom it offers; including the freedom to make unpopular choices. So I harbor no ill will to those who make choices different from mine. Chichay
