I wanted to post some pics and give credit to two people and a company who are about as good as it gets. My thanks to Larry at Cor-kel arms for the beautiful work on the high gloss finish, adjustable comb, and recoil reducer installation. Earnest Marlette did an annual and a few other things, and he sent it to Arts for the Nitride finish. I think it turned out great, and I just wanted to thank these folks, and let you all know you won't go wrong if you send them something to do for you. Thanks G7777777 for suggesting Nitride rather than Nickel. GaryL.

Looks great Gary! Was the receiver blued before you had it refinished? Do you have any before pix to post?

It is a San Remo grade made in 1970. Krieghoff didn't know who RO is, but I've seen his initials on at least one other San Remo. The receiver was blue before, and you could't see the engraving details very well and this is much better. The is is a before pic....GaryL.

I sent the gun to Marlette on 30 August, and got it back on 17 November. I lucked out on the Nitride because Art's only does it every couple of months, and I got mine in when they were doing it. Larry turned the stock in less than a month. GaryL.

Please get those lock screws straightened out. Are they loose, or are they in the wrong holes? Nice looking San Remo.

I wish you guys would stop this, Now I have got to send my Sam Remo off and have the bluing removed, evrytime I think I have spent all the money I can on this gun, you come up with something else I need to spend money on. Stop, it's getting too close to Christmas, I need my money.

Mine is also engraved by "RO". It is really a nice job, too. Mike
