Trace Locke broke his first 100 straight on the 16 yard line and then turned around and broke 100 straight in handicap at Otter Creek Sportsman Club in Cedar Rapids Ia. on Sunday....Great shooting Trace.

Trace was on the 18 or 19 yard line. Good shooting for someone who is in their second year of shooting.

I punched Trace from the 19 to the 20 1/2. We had some good scores on Sunday with Trace and Jerry Pierce breaking 100's on 16's. Trace turned around and ran the 100 on caps and we also had 2-98's and 5 97's and 96's and Jerry Pierce turned around and had a 97 in doubles and he earned it as the wind was playing games with the birds. We also hosted our first AIM Shoot on Saturday with 21 fine young people coming out to shoot a 100 sgls. and a 100 handicap targets. Otter Creeks own Carly Beirutti took home high gun honors and it took 4 rounds before Hunter Eserhaut was victorious over Matt Friedel in their division. Wathching that shoot off and those kids cool and calm demeanor was heart warming. They are the future of the sport so lets support them anyway we can.
