    I took the survey.

The one question that I answered that should have an alternative answer that I answered NO to.

Should firearms safety be taught in High School?

    NO!

it should be taught as early as possible!

Kindergarden! might not be early enough!

There is a lot about handling Firearms that I have known from before I have memory of events.

I have this because my dad started teaching me and my siblings firearms safety before we could walk or talk, and kept teaching us all the time!

So at an age when most people will not let a child handle a firearm.

My dad could hand me and my siblings a revolver and say prove to me it is in a safe condition,

And we could open the cylinder on a double action, or set the hammer open the gate and spin the cylinder on a single action.

And we had and have been taught and taught and taught.

    Not because we are slow!

BUT BECAUSE FIREARMS SAFETY IS AN ALL OR NOTHING EFFORT! Where if you ever stop thinking and teaching it you may not be doing the right thing!

Or in other words be caught in an UNSAFE condition! or frame of mind!

The GOOD LORD knows that there are many many MANY drivers on our roads that have gotten so used to driving they no longer think, and thus reek havoc ON OTHERS!
