1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

Deere did not make a 420 in 1950. Was a Model M until 1953. Was a Model 40 until I believe 1958. Was a 420 then. My uncle had one. Pretty much worthless to farm with. Fun to tinker and mow with today.

LOBO---U are rught---I had to go and look at the bill of sale---It is a 1957 420s---U are wrong about farming with it ---I used that tractor on my blueberry farm 4 several yrs doing disking---operating a sprayer---tilling---mowing etc---many farmers used the same tractor in those days and are still used today on some farms in my area---did much more than tinkering---I am sure there would not be interesting for farming but it is considered an antique much like a 1957 ford or chev. I put this out there to see if there is any interest---It will probably go on E-bay---Thanks

You should not have any problem selling your 420.
Here in Iowa they usually bring quite a lot at auction.
A very useful little tractor. Upright 2 cyl. engine built at Dubuque, Ia.

They are neat little farts, you can list it in tractorhouse.com, should sell fairly quick this time of year, everybody wants to get a tractor ready for a parade, to use for work

My cousin picked one up in the late 80's very clean and paid $2,800 for it at a JD dealer.
