I bet that would make Jim Stoner feel really appreciated. The club members should put themselves in his place and think about it. Apparently he was a contributing member or there would not be a shoot in his memory. IMHO cancelling his shoot for lack of help sucks!
As Pres of a club I can relate, however sometimes the volunteers are not worth having and it is better to do it yourself. Not all but a lot of people who say they will help end up doing nothing except offer their complaints about how you do it. I do feel that once a memorial is started it should be continued somehow
