Jim Gabbard passes

    A founding member of the ST Joe Sportsman club and member of the ATA has passed from a sudden illness. He was 74 years young and his son is also named Jim and has won several awards at the US Open and the last couple of Grands. He was a very good shooter in his day and helped to promote the sport and helped to teach and instruct many who wanted to increase their knowledge of the sport. He will be sadly missed. Dan

    This was from my earlier thread which I posted Thursday nite!

    Looks like we lost Jim Gabbard from Urbana, Illinois. I had a good time listening to some stories from him at the grand a few weeks ago. I am glad I did! He sent his best for my late uncle also!

    I used to listen to alot more stories back in the day when I lived in Illinois!
