Always been a beer guy but man I'm starting to enjoy a glass of this boubon every now and then... No ice or cola just three fingers in a glass.
    Good stuff

It's not bad. I like it better than the "new" Jim Beam Devil's Cut. I still like Maker's Mark the best. For most of my mixing, I like Ezra Brooks and some sort of citrus drink.

I prefer black to makers, I think it is the best value in Bourbon.

My pick for best value bourbon is Ancient Ancient Age (the one with the gold label) sells for $24/1.75l here in NC. Distilled at the Buffalo Trace distillery in Frankfort KY. Great on the rocks or as a mixer. Price no object Van Winkle Reserve.

If you are talking value it is hard to beat Ezra Brooks, if you are talking taste then it is Knob creek or Makers. I dont like any of the Beams

If any of you guys get to Canada try what they consider to be the best made. It is called Alberta Springs and it is the best i have tasted and i drink very seldom. I have tried most of the ones listed here and the Alberta Springs is just so smooth.

Some of the high end stuff is almost too smooth, I like it to have some taste.

For the money I like Wild Turkey 81.

Just for S and G's try "George Dickel 12 year old", IMHO it does not get anybetter than that.

However, keep in mind, If I am ever at your house, what ever "YOU" are serving is the best I ever had.

Best value for me is Evan Williams Single Barrel. You have to look for it but awesome at $23/bottle. Love Makers and Knob and even Knob's new single barrel at 120 proof. Although for my mixers its hard to pass Bean at 20.99 per 1.75L with ginger ale.
