Eric Medlin in critical condition. Blown tire and hit right side guardrail in practice at Gainsville on Monday. I wish him well. I assume this is past the traps, hence high speed.

I just emailed a friend who is well connected in the drag racing community for some info. I will pass on any info!

I just heard back on Medlen's condition.

He apparently suffered a serious head injury during the crash and they don't, as of yet, how much injury his brain suffered. Didn't get any info on any other injuries. Keep him and his family in your prayers, he's going to need them!

Robert Hight is a AA27AA. Son-in-law of John Force. Drives AA/FC. Eric also drives AA/FC as part of the Force camp, but I don't believe he is a noteworthy trapshooter.

Eric Medlin did ride bulls. The N.H.R.A. web site will have day by day updates.
