1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

Gotta move these out. Don't wish to ship. I live in Los Angeles in the Echo Park/Silverlake area between the 2 and the 10 south of the 5.

Might be of interest to trapshooters who, I think, also like toys:

I set Vintage JBL 110's. Serial numbers close by two numbers. Good+ condition cabinets. Speakers sound great, one tweeter replaced, one has a crease. Does not need foam. Need a re-cloth on grills. Easy to do. Vintage about 1981. These are three-way speakers.

    $225.00 for the pair. Firm

1 set Vintage JBL L19's. Good shape, sound great, one speaker needs refoam. Cabinets are average condition. These are two-way speakers.

    $100.00 for the pair. Firm

These are good value prices and, I think, not give aways, but under what JBL's of the vintage, and in lesser condition are selling for.

If you grew up on JBL's and loved music of the 60's, you know how these sound and how appropriate they are. I won't say "awesome" except to sneak that word in; no speaker is "awesome"; all good speakers have a voice and strengths and weaknesses. But I will miss these speakers and the JBL "voice", had to go to a different configuration due to re-configuration of living room.

If this thread is entirely inappropriate at this site, I understand if David Van Elgort has to dump it.

    Thanks,

Mr. Collins your point is? And your expertise and experience are? I'd appreciate knowing more if you are an audiophile. Please be informative so I can market my goods with any greater objectivity.

Dogs??? I beg your pardon Mr Collins. I owned a set of the JBL 110's back in the late 70's or early 80's and they were the best I ever had or that was available at the time. I recently sold the pair for $300 and it only took one day on Craigs list

I have a set of JBL Jubal that I got over 34 years ago.....still sound good. Just don't take the time to listen to them.

    I wouldn't take 300 for them.
